XCR-L

The Robinson Armament XCRL Standard 5.56 is a modular tactical rifle designed to be a better AR15 alternative. Developed after U.S. Special Forces sought a more reliable, more durable platform, the XCRL uses an adjustable, long stroke gas piston system with a heavy duty bolt, extractor and ejector so it runs smoother, cooler and more reliably than direct impingement AR15s and even digests steel cased ammo. Its patented quick change barrel system allows you to swap between 5.56 NATO, .300 BLK and 7.62×39 and other popular calibers in minutes allowing it to be used for almost any purpose from combat to hunting.

Its patented ambidextrous controls and a nonreciprocating charging handle are placed so you can operate the rifle without taking your eyes off the target, while the fully adjustable folding stock collapses and folds for maneuverability and can be fired when folded. The XCRL delivers a smooth, dependable shooting experience and gives AR15 owners a superior alternative for duty, hunting, range work or defending the home.

All the XCR-L models are basically the same. They all have the same lower receiver (which is the serialized part), but the upper receivers are of different lengths from the shortest to the longest – Mini, Standard, Mid, and Competition. Some of these models are designed for certain barrel lengths and calibers. More information specific to each model can be found below.
